Amateur Division

The Amateur Division is truly the heart of the Oklahoma Miniature Horse Club, Inc.  It was established several years ago by amateurs as a way to show their miniature horses and socialize with friends.  The club still offers this division to amateurs whether they are first-time horse owners with little previous knowledge or owners with years of equine experience.

The show ring is a rewarding adventure.  This competition was developed for owners who love showing, but do not choose to be among the professionals.  The amateur division is one of the most popular divisions of OMHCI.  High point awards are presented annually at the OMHCI Christmas Party.
