For 2008, OMHCI decided
to offer competition in stakes classes
rather than futurity. This will be an
opportunity for our members to show off
their young show horses and have some
fun and excitement at the same time.
The OMHCI Members Stakes Classes are
Yearling Stallions, Yearling Mares,
Yearling Geldings, Two-Year-Old Geldings
and Three-Year-Old Pleasure/Country
Pleasure Driving. These classes will be
held at the beginning of the May 24-25
show in Stillwater. The entry fee is
$100 per horse, and the entry must be
made by the show entry deadline of May
15, 2008. No post entries will be
allowed. Both the registered owner of
the horse and the handler must be OMHCI
members, and memberships have the same
May 15 deadline as the entries and will
not be accepted at the show.
